The Board of Trustee's is committed to the safety of staff and patrons during the winter months. Due to the unpredictable nature of the weather, the library may not open or may close early, if contitions make it unsafe for staff to travel. We will make every effort to post closings on our website, as well as on Facebook.

It is the policy of the library to close when the River Ridge School district has cancelled classes.

We realize that unexpected closings may cause overdue items and increase fines; therefore, we will waive overdues and fines for days we are closed due to weather. We encourage you to visit our website, Facebook page, call ahead, or listen for school closings prior to making a trip to the library on potentially stormy days.

You can now keep track of library events and information on our Facebook page. We are listed as Elizabeth Township Library.

When you click on the link marked 'Catalog' along the top of any web page, you will be directed to the PrairieCat Online catalog. There you can search for materials throughout the library system, including books in the Elizabeth Library.

Books can not be ordered through this catalog. It will ask you for your library barcode and pin. This will not currently work with your Elizabeth library card. You can email us directly with your request for books and we will be glad to order them for you.
